About Estéa
Estéa is an independent guide to aesthetic medicine in Geneva. We perform no treatments: we inform, by indication, and connect you with partner clinics. Here is who we are and how we work.
A guide, not a clinic
Estéa is neither a clinic nor a practice: it is an information and introduction service, built for Geneva and the Lake Geneva area. Our role is to help you understand treatments and meet the right practitioner, not to sell you a procedure.
We speak by indication, that is by what a treatment aims to address, never by product or drug name, in line with Swiss law.
How we produce our content
Every page aims to be clear, verified and useful. We rely on recognised references, we avoid superlatives and we promise no result: in medicine, the indication and the outcome depend on each person and are the doctor's call.
Our content is for information and does not replace a consultation. It is reviewed and updated regularly; if you spot an inaccuracy, write to us at info@estea-geneve.ch and we correct it.
The sources we rely on
For the legal framework and the safety of therapeutic products (including the products injected in aesthetic medicine), we refer to Swissmedic, the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products.
For the practice of aesthetic medicine, we rely on the Swiss Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SSME). These references frame our information; they do not replace a doctor's advice.
No ranking for sale
Our agreements with partner clinics are transparent and influence neither our orientations nor our content. A clinic cannot pay to be better placed or better rated: that is the condition of our usefulness.
We are funded through these partnerships, never through product advertising or by reselling your data.
